The Wedding

I haven't had a chance to blog lately and I know you all want to hear about the wedding, so I have a few minutes and thought I would update now.

The 21st was the big day for Shyloh and Jeff, and for some of us we just wish that life could have slowed down.

Mama, Shelbie, and I slept in curlers the night beore the wedding and stayed in them the next day too. We were all embarrassed to wear them at Church (Well Shelbie and I were embarrassed, I don't know about mama, she seemed fine).
We went to the church in the morning helped set up then left. Shyloh and mama went to a hair appointment. Shyloh came back looking like a angei. Her hair was beautiful. Mama's hair was very pretty too. Shelbie and I took out our hair and looked like a poodle. It wasn't a very pretty sight.
When we went back to church Annie did Shelbie's and my hair. She made us look WAY better then we did. She was a LOT of help. We were very thankful for her help. Shyloh was getting very nervous and anxious. All of us brides maids already had our dresses on by 5:15. At 5:30 Shyloh went to put her dress and couldn't find her hoop that goes under the dress. We checked the van a ton of times, and still didn't find it. Daddy drove all the way back to Shyloh's house and got it for her. He got stuck in traffic on the way there. Which was bad news. We where already running behind schedule, but this made it worse. He finally got there, got the hoop and got back. Shyloh got her dress on as fast as she could. All of the brides maids helped tie the back of the dress, it took 10 minutes to tie it. We all sat in the bridal room for 30 minutes talking to Shyloh encouraging her and praying with her. When it was finally time to go out Daddy was waiting for us.

He talked with Shelbie and I for awhile until it was time to walk down the isle. Butch and I were the first to go down the isle, then Annie and Jeremiah went down, then Shelbie walked down (she was the maid of honor). Then last, but not least Shyloh and Daddy came down. She was beautiful in her gown and everything about her. Her eyes sparkled with happiness and joyfulness. We were all so happy for her. When Jeff took her arm I just prayed that they would have a wonderful marriage and a great honey moon.

The reception was so so so pretty. We are all so happy for them. The wedding was just amazing. They were so happy that everyone showed up and blessed for all the gifts. It was the wedding of her dreams. (The colors of the wedding were purple and pink).

Okay Shaylah, That was sooo hard to read. The pink is very difficult to see on that background. I think I had my face like 6 inches from my computer screen. lol Or I guess it could mean I am just getting old. Ha! See ya tomorrow!
