One night I was going to bed and I fell to sleep and then I woke up from a big light. And a Angel appeared to me and it said to me. Today in the town of David a savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: you will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger." And then he left.

Shayden's journal writing on 12/17/08

In a town of Bethlehem, in a stable layed a baby named Jesus. A little bit away there were two shepherds. They were watching the sheep one night then all of a sudden some angels appeared and said do not be afraid I bring you great news. In a town of Bethlehem lays a baby named Jesus he will save you from your sins. Then the angel went away. Lets go see the baby said the shepherds. So they went and worshiped the baby. THE END

Winter Wonderland

For the past couple weeks we have been decorating the play room. We hung snowflakes, we hung stringers and in the center of the room we glittered and hung the star of
David. The only thing that is not right is that the star of David has red glitter instead of yellow glitter. Shyloh and Jeff hung all the snowflakes and streamers. They also helped make some and glitter some. All the kids made snowflakes too. On Saturday we had company over for our Uncles birthday when Shayden started making snowflakes. Well it looked like fun so the adults asked how to make them. Next thing you know all the adults were making snowflakes! It was very funny. They made small snowflakes and big snowflakes. We hung all there snowflakes in the playroom too. We call the playroom "Winter Wonder Land".

Decorating the playroom

A couple weeks ago we thought we should decorate the playroom. So we made snowflakes.
We made like probably 50 or 60 it was a lot. Then we made paper chains. We made a lot of paper chains. Then we hung them up. It looks pretty. But its just for winter.

Fishing with Daddy and Shayden

Yesterday Daddy, Shayden, and I went fishing. We got there and started fishing. Daddy almost caught a fish but the boat started going in circles and it scared the fish away so Daddy did not catch a fish. Shayden got a lot of bites but he did not catch a fish. I only got 7 bites but I did not catch a fish either. But we had fun!!!!

The Fight Of The Day

Today Daddy and I were play fighting and he dragged me across the floor. It did not hurt yet. He did it 4 times and on the 4th time it left a mark. It hurt but I kept fighting. We had fun! This is the picture of my back.

The New Kitten

Shyloh just got her third kitten. Her name is Sophie. The other kittens she had got a disease. Shyloh had one of her kittens for a week then it died but she got another cat. It will be Sophie's first Christmas. She is so cute. She's long haired and is gray. And she's very very very cute!

A Happy Thanksgiving

Every year the boys go turkey hunting the day before Thanksgiving (they never catch anything, but at least they try). This year they decided that Jeff was going to go with them (poor Jeff). Yesterday when Jeff got here they wouldn't stop talking about turkey hunting with Jeff. They all sat done and decided that "if" they catch a turkey they won't kill it. They said that they will bring it home and it will be our Thanksgiving mascot. Funny...but at least they won't kill it(even if they don't catch anything.) So they left last night at 6:30. Of course they didn't catch any thing, but at least they tried. They came home and went in the back yard to see if they hear any turkey noise. They sat out there for about an hour. Then they came in sad because they didn't catch any thing, then they made their way to bed. We cooked most of the dinner on Tuesday and Wednesday. Mama put the turkey in at 8:00 this morning. We were planing to eat at 2:00, but the food wasn't done on time. We had lots of fun. The Silva's, our Aunt and Uncle and and our Aunt's family came over. I had lots of fun playing with Alisia. The boy's played with their friends. And we all had a Happy Thanksgiving.
And I hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving too.

Today's Highlights

Tonight Shyloh & Shelbie got highlights. I only got pictures of Shyloh,but it was funny watching Shelbie to. Mama & Aunt Lynette did Shylohs hair. They put a cap on her head and got little crochet hook and put them thought the holes on the cap and pulled her hair though. After they did that Mama put some highlight stuff on her hair. Then Mama put a bag on her head for 10 minutes. Then she washed her hair and let it dry. I didn't get a picture of after it was done,but it is very pretty. Shelbie didn't get the cap because she only wanted a few highlights. She was worried that it wouldn't turn out. This is her first time getting highlights. Her hair is very pretty to.

Going on a trip to the apple farm & columbia

Wednesday the 5th we went to the apple farm. Daddy and I played football catch, and all of us looked at the ducks and the chickens. There were 2 goats. One looked like Lucy, and the next one did not look like Ricky, but they were cute. We also saw 2 cats, a baby cat and a mommy cat. Shaylah picked up the baby cat and Shayden picked up the mommy cat. We held them for a little bit and then we let them go. The mommy cat ran across the road and the baby cat ran under our car. But it came out. Then it ran by it's mom. And then a big bird flew down and tried to get it and we said, it is a hawk! But the baby cat got away.

Then we left to go to Columbia. At Columbia there are big rocks and we played on them for a long time. We found 4 tunnels, 6 ways to go up, and 3 ways to go down. And we got candy. And then we left.

Bass Pro Shop

A couple days ago we went to the Bass Pro Shop. It is a big store in Manteca. There are a couple games there. There are two floors and two elevators and stairs. And when you go down stairs there is a water fall that you can go under. Next to the water fall is a big fish tank with lots of fish in it. And all over the store are lots of stuffed animals. We petted a stuffed bear and fox and lots more. There were some animals that scared Poppet and Lolly. We also got popcorn. It was very fun.

Shylie's first bath

Today SHYLIE had her first bath. She was born two weeks ago. Today her umbilical cord fell off so she could get all wet so she got her first bath. First Mama put her in the sink and washed her body. Then Mama wrapped her up and washed her hair. She didn't cry when Mama washed her hair. It was cute. She cried a lot when Mama put her whole body in the water. She was really loud. But she was so cute. I love her. She's not going to have a nickname like Poppet and Lolly. Their real name is Shaynah and Shallyn. We just call them the nickname.

New Baby!

On October 23 at 11:27am a new little bundle of joy was born into our family. It is a girl and was born at home! Her name is Shylie Rayell. She is very small and very cute! We are all very happy and very surprised that it is not a boy. Now the boys are really out numbered. She is very red. And sleeps all the time. All day today we have been playing pass the baby around.

Big Brother

Every time I think of Jeff I think of him being my big brother. I love Jeff. He is like my big brother. He comes over every day but not Monday and Wednesday. We call him big brother when we go to bed. But when we are up we call him Jeff.

Poor Lolly

4 days till we have a new little bundle of joy in the house,but it just so happens that the flu has made it to our house, and yesterday poor Lolly got it. It was so sad. She was up stairs till about 10:00 in the morning. Shelbie was in piano lessons with Mrs. Smith when Mama came down stairs to do some laundry and I was in the kitchen when Poppet came running down stairs yelling "Lolly just threw up!" I ran out to the garage to get Mama. When we got up stairs Poor Lolly was in Poppets bed with throw up all over her. It was so sad. She threw up 4 or 5 times yesterday. She stayed on the couch all day watching Looney Tunes. She feels a lot better today. And looks a lot better too.

The New Baby

Its 6 days till Mama has a baby. It will be the ninth baby. Mama had seven of us at the hospital. And one at home. This is the second baby she has at home. I'm so happy!
We're going to go to the hay maze with it. I hope its a boy. Its name might be Shiroh. When its bigger it will play baseball, football and basketball. When we do school we will help him with it. He will help make lunch. He will ride scooters with us. While its little I will hold it. I will read to it.

Shyloh wants a girl. Shelbie does not. Shaylah wants a boy. I Shayden want a boy. Shannen wants a girl. Shadd wants a boy. Poppet wants a boy. Lolly wants a boy. Jeff wants a girl. So now we just wait and pray.

6 days until Mama is going to have the baby. I cannot wait until Mama has the new baby. Mama said I can hold the new baby 4Th. after Daddy, Mama,and Mrs Jaqua. I can hold it. If it is a girl it's name will be Shenlyn Rayell Ney. If it is a boy it's name will be Shiroh Rayden Ney. I cannot believe only 6 to go. Daddy wants twins a boy and a girl. Mama just wants a baby. Shyloh wants a girl. Shelbie just wants a baby to.
Shaylah wants a boy. Shayden wants a boy. I want a girl. Shadd wants a boy. Poppet wants a boy. Lolly wants a boy to. And Jeff is hopping it is a girl to. I cannot wait until I can hold the new baby.

Hay Maze

We went to the Hay Maze last night,with Jeff. Me and Shelbie went together Shyloh and Jeff went together and Shayden, Shannen, Shadd, Poppet(Shaynah), Lolly(Shallyn), and Daddy went together. Me and Shelbie ran into Shyloh and Jeff and we ran into Daddy the boys and the little girls.
We were having lots of fun until we ran into Shyloh and Jeff and they scared us SO bad! Shyloh hid in the corner and Jeff hid around the corner. We looked up and saw Shyloh in the corner, but when we went to her Jeff jumped out at us! We screamed so loud. But that was only the first time they scared us. After that they started to follow us. The only way we new they were following us, was because me and shelbie heard them. Well then we started following them. Then as we were going away Shelbie grabbed my shirt playing with me, well I was not expecting it and when it was so sudden I fell to the ground and hit my back. It hurt for the rest of the night, but I don't regret it because it was fun. I enjoyed it.
