Lucy a.k.a. Lulu

O.k. I know I haven't (or any of us for that matter!) blogged in like, FOREVER!!! So I have a little bit of time and am allowed to blog:) So here we go......
Meet Lucy a.k.a. Lulu, she is a female teacup (or mini) Chihuahua. I found her running up and down the street late last month. I begged Mama to let Shelbie and I go try to catch her, she caved in and said OK. Shelbie and I with help from our neighbor chased her for about a half hour, finally we cornered her and caught her. At first she was a little mean, but after about 15 minutes she was Shelbie's and my
best friend. She was so sweet.
We called the pound to come and pick her up,
but by the time they got here none of us wanted to give her up. We wanted to keep her until we found her owners. Mama, who also had wanted to keep her persuaded the pound lady to let us keep her until we found her owners. She said it was fine, she scanned her to see if she had a microchip and she didn't. She said that we could keep her until we found her
owners, but we needed to put up posters and put found adds in the paper. We put 2 found adds in the paper, put posters up, put a found add in the Pound paper too, and even asked a couple people if they had lost there dog. We never found her owners. The pound said that if we did ever thing in our power (and we did) to find her owners and no one claims her, she is legally after 2 weeks.
Lucy almost right away she fell in love with me, and I the same with her. She follows me around the house, sleeps with me and even greets me with dog licks when I get home. Everybody laughs and says that "she is so ugly and only I would love a thing such as her."=) Maybe it is true, but I would and will never stop loving her or trade her. Daddy said I can keep her,

so now she is MY puppy! I LOVE LUCY:)

I'M AN UNCLE!!!!....

Shyloh came over the other day and sat on the couch. Mama said are you alright? She said no I need to talk to you. Mama said OK. Shyloh and Mama went up stairs and Shyloh said I am pregnant. Mama was so surprised. But happy at the same time. 3 days later Jeff and Shyloh were over and Jeff told Shayden, Shadd and me that Shyloh was pregnant. We were so excited. Now she is 6 weeks along. I can not wait to be a Uncle!!

The Bubbling Explotion

Three days ago we did a science experiment. We made a volcano that overflowed. It was called "The Bubbling Eruption". We put 1/2 cup of liquid soap, 3/4 cup vinegar, 1 cup water, and 4-5 drops red food color all in a bowl. Then we put 1/2 cup baking soda in a 10-12 oz. can, we surrounded the can with sand. Then we poured the liquid ingredients in the can and watched it overflow!
It was really cool. The stuff is gross, but you should try it! Just don't do it in the house!

MY KEEPER STRIPER!!!!!

Daddy, Shannen, and I went fishing on Friday the 23. We got up at 5:45. We got dressed, got our lunch and left. We got a donut for breakfast. When we got to Rio Vista we got the boat in the water and took off. When we got to the spot we started fishing. We waited for an hour. Then I caught a fish. But it was not a keeper. I caught a 2nd fish a half an hour later. Then I caught a 3rd fish. Then 2 hours later I caught a big one. It was 9 lbs and 30 inches. It took me 3 minutes to reel up. Then ten minutes later daddy caught one. It was 17 inches so daddy let it go. Then we went home and had fish the next night and went to the hay maze that night.

Prayer for Megan

I normally don't blog..because I don't have a blog, but I got permission from Shaylah to use her blog to ask for prayer for my cat, Megan. I have had Megan for 11 1/2 years. I found her when she was a kitten and I was only 4 years old, and has been with me her whole life. I love her very much, and she is very attached as well as devoted to me. She follows me around the house all day, meowing when I'm not in the room.
Megan got very sick a few weeks ago, and since I didn't have the money to take her to the vet, we took the home route for healing. She is on the road for recovery now, but is still not 100% well. The disease attacked her eyes and left her completely blind in her left eye and only partly seeing in her right eye. We are trying to help her keep the little sight she has left, but it will take a miracle to completely heal her. She keeps getting bloody noses from the disease, as well as from running into stuff. So all prayers are really appreciated.
Thanks.

HAIRCUT!!!

For about 5 years I have been begging Mama to let me cut my hair. I wanted to cut it right below my shoulders. Mama kept saying "No" because she loved my hair. She said that if she could have any one's hair she would have mine. My hair is really thick and hard to take care of, so I usually just put it in a pony. Mama finally said "whatever, do what you want. It's your hair."

I was so excited to cut my hair. I made a appointment and went in as soon as possible. Grammy came with me and took some pictures. I LOVE my hair now and it is easy to take care of it. Here are some pictures of "Before" and "After".

Update on our little birdies

R.I.P. Hope

About a week ago we noticed that Shelbie little birdie 'Hope' had something wrong with it's beak. It was all puffy and reddish-blackish color. We put some peroxide on it and prayed that she would get better in time to release them on Saturday. The next day Shelbie and I had been noticing that we hadn't seen Hope that morning, when I went out to feed and water them. When I went out, I started to look for her, I found her in her little nesting box still sleeping. I imediately realized that she wasn't sleeping I was very sad and didn't want to tell Shelbie, but I had too. I told Shelbie and she ran out there to make sure. She was very sad and we all just prayed that when she had passed away she just fall asleep and and didn't feel a thing. Shelbie is still very sad that Hope wasn't alive to be released with all the others, but she knows that she is with Jesus now.

Freedom at last!

On Friday Shelbie and I made the decision to release the birdies the next day. We were very sad and knew that we were going miss them. We brought them inside and held them for awhile. Shiloh our most untamed one got out of Shelbie's hand and started to fly around the house. We all tried to catch her. Poppet was walking out side just at that moment, Shiloh flew straight outside and into our tree. Shelbie was sad, but she said all along she knew that Shiloh would be the first to go. We put Faith and Jackie back in the cage and opened the door. They didn't leave for about 3 hours after that. Faith ended up leaving second. About a hour after that Jackie left too.

They haven't came back yet, but we know that they are happy.

My First Fish!!!

Out of all the times I have gone fishing, and all the times that I have gotten snagged or gotten a bite or jerked to soon or a fish getting off before I could reel it in, I have never caught a fish. I love fish. They taste so so GOOD. I like Favorite Black Bass, it is the best tasting fish ever.
Well as I was saying... Um .... Oh yeah, about the fish. So I have never caught a fish before, when we went camping (as you know from the boy's post) we went to a new place, it was only our second time going to this place. We went with our Aunt Lynette & Uncle Micah. Shyloh & Jeff came too. It was really fun with all of them.
This place is called "Clark's Fork" it has a little stream up there with lots of trout. Daddy and I saw a lot of fish that were 10 maybe 12 inch in length. We went fishing as soon as we got unpacked. We used night crawlers and salmon eggs. Daddy and I used the night crawlers and Shadd wanted to use the salmon eggs. Daddy kept getting a bite and every time he would jerk it had gotten off, he said that it felt small so it wasn't one of the 10 of 12 inch ones. I casted out for the 3rd time when I felt a tug. I waited for it to tug again then I would jerk. It tuged again and I jerked. I started to reel it in hoping that I had caught a fish. When I reeled it in and guess what...? I had caught my first fish!!! I was so excited and everyone started to call me the "bomb". Shadd and the little girls walked around the rest of that day saying "Who's The Bomb? SHAYLAH! "Who's The Bomb? SHAYLAH!!"
I brought it back and cleaned and cooked it myself and ate it. It was small so it only served as a one person meal. And let me tell you, it had to be the second best fish I have ever tasted (Black Bass is still my favorite). Daddy said he is going to bring Shadd and I Striper fishing in the next couple weeks. I am excited. Maybe I will be able to catch my first Striper.=)

Our Camping trip!

We went camping a week ago. On the way up we broke down 1 time. As soon as we got their we took pictures. Then we unpacked and played. After that Uncle Micah did a little class with us boys about reptiles and snakes. Then he took us boys on a snake hunt. Uncle Micah caught one snake. It was a garter snake. Garter snakes are yellow and black. The next day I caught 3 and Shannen caught 1. Daddy caught a fish and Shaylah did to. We got up the next day and went and let 2 of the snakes go and earlier the last day we let 1 of the snakes go. We kept 2 baby snakes. Uncle Micah kept the 2 snakes at his house so we get to see them all the time. Uncle Micah gave us boys a whistle with a compass and a thermometer on it and a magnifying glass on it too. We had fun camping.

The camping trip!!!......

We went camping on Sep 11th with Aunt Lynette, Uncle Micah, Shyloh and Jeff. We broke down and Jeff did too. We finally got there. We went snake hunting and fishing. We caught 5 snakes and 2 fish. I caught 1 snake, Shayden caught 3 snakes, Uncle Micah caught 1 too, and Shaylah caught 1 fish and daddy caught 1 fish too. The second night that we were there we were sitting by the fire and behind us we heard a big thump and Uncle Micah, Jeff, and Daddy jumped up with their flash lights and then shined it where the big thump came from and we all got really scared. Uncle Micah had to walk us to the bath room because he had a gun on him and a big flash light. Then we went to bed. In the morning I asked him what it was and he said it was a bear. Then we had to pack up and release the snakes but Uncle Micah kept 2 of them because he is a big snake guy and he has a whole room of snakes. Then we went to a swimming hole and swimmed there and it was really cold and Shayden and Shadd did not want to hop in but finally they hopped in to say that they did it. We had a very fun time!

Stripper fishing

Daddy, Shannen, and I went fishing this week. Once we got there, we got the boat in the water. Then Daddy drove the car up and parked it. After that we all got in the boat and drove to a deep spot and started fishing. After a hour I caught my first fish. Ten minutes later I caught my second fish. Five minutes later I caught my third fish. Daddy said, "how are you getting them so fast?" I said, "I don't know." A couple minutes past then Daddy caught a fish. Ten minutes past I caught my fourth fish. Then I caught two more fish. And then Daddy caught 3 more. But Shannen didn't catch any. But he was happy anyway. Then we went home.

The Wedding

I haven't had a chance to blog lately and I know you all want to hear about the wedding, so I have a few minutes and thought I would update now.

The 21st was the big day for Shyloh and Jeff, and for some of us we just wish that life could have slowed down.

Mama, Shelbie, and I slept in curlers the night beore the wedding and stayed in them the next day too. We were all embarrassed to wear them at Church (Well Shelbie and I were embarrassed, I don't know about mama, she seemed fine).
We went to the church in the morning helped set up then left. Shyloh and mama went to a hair appointment. Shyloh came back looking like a angei. Her hair was beautiful. Mama's hair was very pretty too. Shelbie and I took out our hair and looked like a poodle. It wasn't a very pretty sight.
When we went back to church Annie did Shelbie's and my hair. She made us look WAY better then we did. She was a LOT of help. We were very thankful for her help. Shyloh was getting very nervous and anxious. All of us brides maids already had our dresses on by 5:15. At 5:30 Shyloh went to put her dress and couldn't find her hoop that goes under the dress. We checked the van a ton of times, and still didn't find it. Daddy drove all the way back to Shyloh's house and got it for her. He got stuck in traffic on the way there. Which was bad news. We where already running behind schedule, but this made it worse. He finally got there, got the hoop and got back. Shyloh got her dress on as fast as she could. All of the brides maids helped tie the back of the dress, it took 10 minutes to tie it. We all sat in the bridal room for 30 minutes talking to Shyloh encouraging her and praying with her. When it was finally time to go out Daddy was waiting for us.

He talked with Shelbie and I for awhile until it was time to walk down the isle. Butch and I were the first to go down the isle, then Annie and Jeremiah went down, then Shelbie walked down (she was the maid of honor). Then last, but not least Shyloh and Daddy came down. She was beautiful in her gown and everything about her. Her eyes sparkled with happiness and joyfulness. We were all so happy for her. When Jeff took her arm I just prayed that they would have a wonderful marriage and a great honey moon.

The reception was so so so pretty. We are all so happy for them. The wedding was just amazing. They were so happy that everyone showed up and blessed for all the gifts. It was the wedding of her dreams. (The colors of the wedding were purple and pink).

Faith, Hope, and Shiloh

I was going to blog about this 5 weeks ago, but I forgot. So here it is. About 5 weeks ago Shelbie found a 1 week old baby sparrow. She brought it in side and feed feed it. When it turned 3 weeks old and she know that it would live she named it "Faith" (for she had faith in God that it would live). It is now 6 weeks old and almost off of bird formula.

Just yesterday we went to aunt Lynette's house, why we were there we found 2 baby sparrow. We brought them home feed them also and put them with Faith. They soon became Friends with
Faith. They are about 2 weeks old. Shelbie named hers "Hope" and I named mine "Shiloh" (Shyloh wanted one named after her). Jackie doesn't like any of them and every time she is with them she pecks them. When they are moved to her cage to she is going to have to get used to them. Here are some pics.

Meet Sarah

The other night I woke up in the middle of the night with a really weird looking thing on my bed. My first thought was "What is that!!". Apparently I said it out loud. Shyloh was right there ( she hadn't gone to bed yet) she said it was her new dog. It was on the front porch so she brought it in and gave it a bath. It is a mutt and everyone thinks it is really ugly, but I think it really cute.
Her name is "Sarah". She is really sweet. I call her mine =). We really like each other. Shyloh gave her to me last night, but Daddy says if she leaves it here he will bring it to the pound. I wish he would let me have her, but Shyloh likes her too. Here are some Pics. of her.

Meet "Herbie"

A while back when Shyloh and Jeff told Poppet that they were getting a house, Shyloh joked around and told Poppet that she could live with them (big mistake since she is only 4)!

Poppet didn't know that she was joking and thought she was seriously. A couple weeks later when Shyloh told her she was joking poppet started to cry. Daddy called her over and whispered something in her ear and said "don't tell anyone!" We all soon figured out what Daddy told poppet. He told her if she would stay with us and not move with Shyloh he would buy her a Chihuahua! After he told her that she didn't want to go with Shyloh anymore.

It has been about 2 months after he said that. The other day Mama, Daddy, Aunt Lynette, and Uncle Micah brought Poppet down to the "store". When they arrived at the "store" there was a pen full of baby Chihuahua's! She picked out one that was white and with a patch around it's eye.
She named it "Herbie". He is only half Chihuahua's, which made it even cuter. He is only 6 weeks old.
