Lucy a.k.a. Lulu

O.k. I know I haven't (or any of us for that matter!) blogged in like, FOREVER!!! So I have a little bit of time and am allowed to blog:) So here we go......
Meet Lucy a.k.a. Lulu, she is a female teacup (or mini) Chihuahua. I found her running up and down the street late last month. I begged Mama to let Shelbie and I go try to catch her, she caved in and said OK. Shelbie and I with help from our neighbor chased her for about a half hour, finally we cornered her and caught her. At first she was a little mean, but after about 15 minutes she was Shelbie's and my
best friend. She was so sweet.
We called the pound to come and pick her up,
but by the time they got here none of us wanted to give her up. We wanted to keep her until we found her owners. Mama, who also had wanted to keep her persuaded the pound lady to let us keep her until we found her owners. She said it was fine, she scanned her to see if she had a microchip and she didn't. She said that we could keep her until we found her
owners, but we needed to put up posters and put found adds in the paper. We put 2 found adds in the paper, put posters up, put a found add in the Pound paper too, and even asked a couple people if they had lost there dog. We never found her owners. The pound said that if we did ever thing in our power (and we did) to find her owners and no one claims her, she is legally after 2 weeks.
Lucy almost right away she fell in love with me, and I the same with her. She follows me around the house, sleeps with me and even greets me with dog licks when I get home. Everybody laughs and says that "she is so ugly and only I would love a thing such as her."=) Maybe it is true, but I would and will never stop loving her or trade her. Daddy said I can keep her,

so now she is MY puppy! I LOVE LUCY:)

I'M AN UNCLE!!!!....

Shyloh came over the other day and sat on the couch. Mama said are you alright? She said no I need to talk to you. Mama said OK. Shyloh and Mama went up stairs and Shyloh said I am pregnant. Mama was so surprised. But happy at the same time. 3 days later Jeff and Shyloh were over and Jeff told Shayden, Shadd and me that Shyloh was pregnant. We were so excited. Now she is 6 weeks along. I can not wait to be a Uncle!!

The Bubbling Explotion

Three days ago we did a science experiment. We made a volcano that overflowed. It was called "The Bubbling Eruption". We put 1/2 cup of liquid soap, 3/4 cup vinegar, 1 cup water, and 4-5 drops red food color all in a bowl. Then we put 1/2 cup baking soda in a 10-12 oz. can, we surrounded the can with sand. Then we poured the liquid ingredients in the can and watched it overflow!
It was really cool. The stuff is gross, but you should try it! Just don't do it in the house!

MY KEEPER STRIPER!!!!!

Daddy, Shannen, and I went fishing on Friday the 23. We got up at 5:45. We got dressed, got our lunch and left. We got a donut for breakfast. When we got to Rio Vista we got the boat in the water and took off. When we got to the spot we started fishing. We waited for an hour. Then I caught a fish. But it was not a keeper. I caught a 2nd fish a half an hour later. Then I caught a 3rd fish. Then 2 hours later I caught a big one. It was 9 lbs and 30 inches. It took me 3 minutes to reel up. Then ten minutes later daddy caught one. It was 17 inches so daddy let it go. Then we went home and had fish the next night and went to the hay maze that night.

Prayer for Megan

I normally don't blog..because I don't have a blog, but I got permission from Shaylah to use her blog to ask for prayer for my cat, Megan. I have had Megan for 11 1/2 years. I found her when she was a kitten and I was only 4 years old, and has been with me her whole life. I love her very much, and she is very attached as well as devoted to me. She follows me around the house all day, meowing when I'm not in the room.
Megan got very sick a few weeks ago, and since I didn't have the money to take her to the vet, we took the home route for healing. She is on the road for recovery now, but is still not 100% well. The disease attacked her eyes and left her completely blind in her left eye and only partly seeing in her right eye. We are trying to help her keep the little sight she has left, but it will take a miracle to completely heal her. She keeps getting bloody noses from the disease, as well as from running into stuff. So all prayers are really appreciated.
Thanks.

HAIRCUT!!!

For about 5 years I have been begging Mama to let me cut my hair. I wanted to cut it right below my shoulders. Mama kept saying "No" because she loved my hair. She said that if she could have any one's hair she would have mine. My hair is really thick and hard to take care of, so I usually just put it in a pony. Mama finally said "whatever, do what you want. It's your hair."

I was so excited to cut my hair. I made a appointment and went in as soon as possible. Grammy came with me and took some pictures. I LOVE my hair now and it is easy to take care of it. Here are some pictures of "Before" and "After".

Update on our little birdies

R.I.P. Hope

About a week ago we noticed that Shelbie little birdie 'Hope' had something wrong with it's beak. It was all puffy and reddish-blackish color. We put some peroxide on it and prayed that she would get better in time to release them on Saturday. The next day Shelbie and I had been noticing that we hadn't seen Hope that morning, when I went out to feed and water them. When I went out, I started to look for her, I found her in her little nesting box still sleeping. I imediately realized that she wasn't sleeping I was very sad and didn't want to tell Shelbie, but I had too. I told Shelbie and she ran out there to make sure. She was very sad and we all just prayed that when she had passed away she just fall asleep and and didn't feel a thing. Shelbie is still very sad that Hope wasn't alive to be released with all the others, but she knows that she is with Jesus now.

Freedom at last!

On Friday Shelbie and I made the decision to release the birdies the next day. We were very sad and knew that we were going miss them. We brought them inside and held them for awhile. Shiloh our most untamed one got out of Shelbie's hand and started to fly around the house. We all tried to catch her. Poppet was walking out side just at that moment, Shiloh flew straight outside and into our tree. Shelbie was sad, but she said all along she knew that Shiloh would be the first to go. We put Faith and Jackie back in the cage and opened the door. They didn't leave for about 3 hours after that. Faith ended up leaving second. About a hour after that Jackie left too.

They haven't came back yet, but we know that they are happy.
