Big News!!!

I am SO excited to be able to announce, that I am going to be a auntie and big sister to another little bundle of joy all in 1 week, at the age of 14! Yes, you read right, Mama and Shyloh are both pregnant and due within 4 days of each other! Shyloh is due on April 26 (Shaydens birthday), and Mama is due on April 30, 2011! We are all very excited about this! Shelbie and I have been talking about what we want Shyloh's baby to call us. Shelbie decided on "Auntie Bee" for her, because all the kids called her "Bee" before they could pronounce Shelbie;) She said my name should be "Auntie Laylah", because all the kids called me "Laylah" before they could pronounce Shaylah. Of course, if I did go with that, when they got older they would call me "Auntie Shaylah". We are all happy and very excited about this and hope and pray everything goes well! Please all who read this pray for Shyloh and Mama to have a good pregnancy! Thank~you!

P.S.
I have had this in my drafts and just got around to posting it. Sorry!

Meet... Mickie and Minnie

Well, it has been a month and a few weeks since Skittles died and Mama had told me that whenever I was ready for another one she would buy me one. A couple of weeks ago we went down and I picked one out, I named her Missie. And then as a surprise Aunt Dee Dee, Uncle Mike, Tarryn, and Lynna Baker (my uncle, aunts and cousins) bought me another one. I named her Minnie.

After about a week of having Missie, she got sick and after a couple of days she died:( Mama brought me in and we where able to trade her in for another one. Again the same thing happened. That one also got sick and died. To my surprise the Bakers bought me another one! This time we named her Mickie instead of Missie. These two are the funnest little rats ever (besides skittles)! I love these two SO SO SO much!!! Thank you Bakers for buying them for me!!!
So with out further ado I introduce.... Mickie and Minnie, and yes Mickie is a girl ;D

Speaking Louder Than Before - Jeremy Camp

I am a HUGE fan of Jeremy Camp and this is one of my favorite songs he sings. It's called "Speaking Louder Than Before", off his "Speaking Louder Than Before" CD;) I really love what this whole songs says, it is really good!

SPEAKING LOUDER THAN BEFORE

Hear now this declaration
From out across the nations
We need to wake up and understand

Many hurting hearts are crying
But our voices seem to be dying
Can you see the battle raging on?

We are the light to reach this world
We are the salt preserving these souls
Let's show them the love that we've received now

We are, we are in desperation
We need to reach this generation
We are speaking louder than before

We are the hope that's been forgotten
We have a love that will be brought and
We are speaking louder than before

Take every chance that you can
Move together taking a stand
Never losing heart, we'll speak as one

We need to be the image of Christ
Show love and serve at all times
We can make a difference in these lands

We are the light to reach this world
We are the salt preserving these souls
Let's show them the love that we've received now

We are, we are in desperation
We need to reach this generation
We are speaking louder than before

We are the hope that's been forgotten
We have the love that will be brought and
We are speaking louder than before

Everything's so surreal
But this urgency I feel
We should be reaching out to all these desperate pleas

Oh, the need is real can't you feel
This call to revolution
My beating heart is breaking for them
That's why I'm speaking now
That's why I'm speaking now

We are, we are in desperation
We need to reach this generation
We are speaking louder than before

We are the hope that's been forgotten
We have a love that will be brought and
We are speaking louder than before

We are, we are, we're speaking louder
We are, we are, we're speaking louder
We are speaking louder than before
We are speaking louder than before
Oh, yeah

Natalie Grant & Tenth Avenue North

About a month ago I was reading the news paper and saw that Natalie Grant was going to be at the county fair, well being the kind of girl who loves music and loves going to concerts I talked Daddy into bringing me to go see her.
I saw her last November with Jeremy Camp and Bebo Norman and enjoyed her so I thought it would be fun to go see her again. So with persuading and a little talking he said he would take me and whoever else wants to go.
Well about a weed after that I was reading what day and time she would be there, and found out Tenth Avenue North was going to be with her. I had never seen them in concert, but I have heard their songs on the radio and like them a lot. I told Daddy and he was pretty excited and thought it sounded like fun. They have some songs out that I really like, such as "Healing Begins", "By Your Side", "Hold My Heart" and "House of Mirrors".
Daddy, Shelbie, Shayden, Shannen, and I went. We waited like an hour for it to start, but it was worth it. We REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, liked Tenth Avenue North. Natalie Grant was really good also, but Tenth Avenue North was just AWESOME! The message that they had to say was just great. They were really humble and funny at the same time. Almost everything they said reflected God somehow. It was really cool.
Sorry Natalie Grant, but Tenth Avenue North has passed you up in my favorites. It now goes...
(1) Jeremy Camp, (2) Tenth Avenue North, (3) Natalie Grant, and last, but not least (4) Toby Mac. The concert was a lot of fun and it was worth the whole 9 dollars;)

Good-Bye my dear, sweet, Skittles!

This year has not been a very good pet year for our family. Our sparrows, Cater and Lily died (a week apart from each other), then that weekend our black lab Meko, that we had for almost 11 years had to be put to sleep, and then worse of all my dear, sweet, Skittles had to be put to sleep.
I had decided to go natural route with her and her tumor, but it didn't work. Her tumor just kept getting worse and worse, bigger and bigger. It got so bad that she started to squeak ever time I would pick her up. Daddy told me that it could pop if I didn't make a decision. So I prayed and made a decision. The next day Mama brought me down to get her put to sleep.
We asked about getting it removed, but the lady helping us said that her daughter had done that with hers and it came back after 6 months with a vengeance. Plus it cost a couple hundred dollars. Good-bye my dear, sweet, Skittles! I love you lots.
After we had to put Skittles to sleep a made a video in memory of her. It took me a while to gather the pictures and put it to music, but I did it.
The Life Of Skittles

Unfortunately I didn't have much pictures of her without a tumor, but I thought the ones that I had good enough.
